REmoval of Moles, Skin tags, and Telangiectasia.
Firstly and most importantly your mole/ skintag/ lesion will be assessed under dermatoscope vision to look for any suspicious features.
Benign/ non concerning looking lesions can often be treated with surgitron radio surgery. Any lesion that looks suspicious will be removed surgically and sent for pathological processing, or you will be referred for surgical removal.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE/ WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME LIKE?
The procedure is usually fairly quick, but depends on the size and number of lesions to be treated. The area is numbed using a very small needle with local anaesthetic. We treat the desired lesions, apply dressings as needed and then you are on your way- Typically you are in and out within an hour.
After this a small scab forms over the treated area, this heals over the next 7-10 days and the newly healed skin blends into the surrounding skin over the following months. It is important in this healing phase to avoid sun to the area to prevent hyperpigmentation.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Cost depends on the size and number of lesions to be treated. Removal of a single lesion starts at $500.
IS IT SAFE FOR EVERYONE?
If your lesion or mole is potentially suspicious, we will advise a traditional removal so that it can be sent to the lab for diagnostic processing.
Those with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators and those who are pregnant can not have radiosurgical treatments.
